Nepal National Social Welfare Association (NNSWA) established itself in 1990. In 1994, NNSWA registered with the District Administration Office Kanchanpur and affiliated to Social Welfare Council Kathmandu. NNSWA has grown over the years, implementing various integrated community based development programs in Sudhurpaschim province being one of the leading development organizations in Nepal.
Notice for Thesis Grant
NNSWA is implementing SUDRIDH project with the support from DCA in Bheemdatta and Dodhara Chandani Municipality of Kanchanpur district and Parashuram Municipality of Dadeldhura district. This project is tending to create a synergy among the activities that are particularly linked to reduce the disaster risk and enhance the livelihood capacity of climate-vulnerable communities along the Mahakali river basin covering three Municipalities. The project is currently working in three thematic areas: Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate change adaptation and resilient livelihood.
NNSWA SUDRIDH Project provides research grants to students from different universities on a competitive basis to enhance the young researchers’ skills and capacity and help them produce good quality research. These grants are provided to Master’s level students based on the quality of their proposals. Proposals would be evaluated on the basis of research quality: research relevance, clarity in methodology, practicability, and scientific/social importance and relevancy with the SUDRIDH Project.

Eligibility Criteria
Grant Information
The maximum amount for the grant is NPR. 50,000/- (Including taxes) and payment will be made as per the following schedule:
Proposal Guideline
The proposal should be no more than 5-7 pages and should be in Times New Roman font with single spacing and font size of 12. It should include the following information:

· Digital copy of student’s identity card
