Important Information

Nepal National Social Welfare Association (NNSWA) established itself in 1990. In 1994, NNSWA registered with the District Administration Office Kanchanpur and affiliated to Social Welfare Council Kathmandu. NNSWA has grown over the years, implementing various integrated community based development programs in Sudhurpaschim province being one of the leading development organizations in Nepal.

Enhanced Action of Inclusive CSOs for Participation in Climate Resilient Economic Growth (UTHAN)

Overall Objective:

üPromoting inclusive, sustainable and climate resilient economic growth through meaningful CSO participation and accountable local governance in Karnali and Sudurpaschim Pradesh (Provinces) of Nepal.

Specific Objective:

üThe capacity of CSOs and their networks, alliances and federations is strengthened for continued exercise of human rights and meaningful engagement in climate-responsive local governance and activity implementations.
üClimate  resilient  agriculture  (CRA)  technologies  and  practices  are  demonstrated, promoted and scaled up by CSOs for improving livelihoods and resilience of targeted groups.
üAn enabling environment is created for the meaningful participation of women, youth and marginalized groups and their initiatives for the promotion of CRA.
