Nepal National Social Welfare Association (NNSWA) established itself in 1990. In 1994, NNSWA registered with the District Administration Office Kanchanpur and affiliated to Social Welfare Council Kathmandu. NNSWA has grown over the years, implementing various integrated community based development programs in Sudhurpaschim province being one of the leading development organizations in Nepal.
NNSWA is working in partnership with Netherlands Leprosy Relief (NLR) Nepal for Inclusive Development & Stop Transmission program (ID/STP) since September 2017 on the basis of Outcome Mapping (OM) model. For this program NLR Nepal is donor, NNSWA & ID municipalities of Sudurpashchim Province are boundary partner for program implementation. Stop Transmission (STP) activities are related with Leprosy and Single Dose Rifampicin/Post Exposure Prophylaxis (SDR/PEP) (earlier it was called as Leprosy Post Exposure Prophylaxis (LPEP). Inclusive Development (ID) (Earlier it was named as Disability Inclusive Development – DID) program are conducted in close coordination with ID municipalities (Laljhadi RM, Beldandi RM, Shuklaphanta Municipality of Kanchanpur & Gauriganga municipality, Bardagoriya RM, Kailari RM of Kailali district.
