Important Information

Nepal National Social Welfare Association (NNSWA) established itself in 1990. In 1994, NNSWA registered with the District Administration Office Kanchanpur and affiliated to Social Welfare Council Kathmandu. NNSWA has grown over the years, implementing various integrated community based development programs in Sudhurpaschim province being one of the leading development organizations in Nepal.

Suaahara Project

Project Description

Suaahara integrated nutrition program seeks to improve the health of pregnant and lactating women and children less than two years of age. Suaahara is a comprehensive community-focused program that integrates various sectors-nutrition, hygiene and sanitation, agriculture and health services promotion in order to address the key factors affecting nutritional status. In other words, Suaahara is on the way of paving path to reach target group-1000 days (Pregnant and Lactating Mother) households. Suaahara is accelerating to create amiable environment for smooth operation of the program.
